Questions:

1. Would your group have gone to war to declare independence from Britain?

Yes because we would've wanted freedom. The British had done many unfair taxes on us, like taxation without representation and taxation on essential things like tea and other items. They closed our ports and made us house their soldiers.

2. What were the major points that made your decision?

We did not like that they taxed on tea just because they were in debt for a war that they were a part of. Tea,paper, oil, glass, stamps. Many essential things for daily colonial life. This made life hard spending all of this extra money on petty British taxes.

3. Did all group memeber agree with the decision?

Yes because we all agreed that British taxes were unfair to the American people as they had done nothing wrong.

4. What are the alternatives to war?

Because the British did not try and negotiate with us at all the just pressed a tax if they would've negotiated there probably would've been more peaceful options to this conflict.
