Do you like books with humor, reality and jealousy? If you
do, you'll like Teacher's Pet by Johanna Hurwitz. This
story is about Cricket wanting to be liked by Mrs. Scraalenburgh.
She thinks that her teacher likes Zoe more than her. The best
parts of this book are when it tells what Cricket goes through
trying to become teacher's pet. A few of those parts are when
Zoe brings in 278 soup can labels and Cricket only brings in two
soup can labels. Another is when Zoe convinces Cricket to try
a pickle and she HATES IT!!!! If you want to know the others,
read the book. I think you'll like it very, very, very much.
