10,000 died in camps from disease or exposure.

8,500 died in prison after being captured by the British

Approximately 1,400 soldiers were missing.
British military deaths during the war totaled about 10,000.



Drunkenness reached staggering proportions

 

The Treaty of Paris Caused...

Independence is certain

British could collects debts from America

Loyalists properties would be compensated for or returned

Long term

More people voting

More land

more Religious freedom

more American manufacturing

state government was established
