The Jurassic Period started 206 million years ago to 144 million years ago. The climate was very hot and dry, then changed to moist and warm with no ice capes or flooded areas. The first sign of birds and flowers appeared during the Jurrasic Period. The Dinosaurs were the dominate animals in the Jurassic Period. Another animal that evolved during the Jurassic Period were birds.
