The days keep passing us by. It is hard to believe that Christmas is almost here. Do you have all your shopping done?
Our staff has done an outstanding job of keeping the students focused during a time of the year when it can sometimes be difficult. I have also been very impressed with the numerous Advent activities that have been going on in the different units. The message of Advent is truly alive in the halls of St. Joseph! We enjoyed a lovely feast day celebration yesterday. The students always do a good job ministering our masses. Please make plans to attend our Advent prayer service on December 17. I would also like you to note that our December 22nd Mass has been changed to an all-school Mass. This Mass will be planned and ministered by the faculty.
If you are not already in the holiday spirit, I would like to remind you of our Christmas program on December 13th in the church at 7:00 p.m. Our band concert will be held on December 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Regis LaSalle theatre at Xavier High School. The preschool concert was last Tuesday evening. Congratulations to Mrs. O'Rourke and Mrs. Gunderson for putting on a fine performance.

The St. Joseph School Christmas Program is just a few days always. On Monday, December 13th, all students (K-8th grade) will give a Christmas Program. The show will be held in St. Joseph Church and begins at 7:00 PM. All choir students are asked to report to the Music Room at 6:15 PM. Students NOT in choir should report to their seats in the church between 6:30 and 6:45 PM. All students should wear "Christmas Dress" clothing. Please refer to last Thursday's note for more details.
